Alongside 20-year-old Amirhossein Maleki, he is the eighth and ninth young protester hanged in the fabricated "Alikhani Square" case. We know how Revolutionary Courts build these files—interrogators write the confession first, then break the prisoner's bones until he signs.
What else the regime tried to bury in the last 24 hours:
Death for a tweet: 691 people executed in ten months, and yesterday Tehran's court sentenced young activist Amirhossein Mousavi to death just for posts on X.
8-day rubber stamp: Judge Salavati's death sentence against protester Arman Marefati was confirmed in just 8 days, trampling the 20-day appeal law.
War abroad, thirst at home: While four tankers burn in Hormuz and US strikes hit Qeshm, village women protested at a petrol station because their water taps have been dry for six days.
The Scar of 1979
This execution wave feels exactly like the bloodsoaked 1980s. And our generation owes young Iranians the brutal truth: in 1979, our leftist parties marched behind Khomeini and helped him crush dissent—only to be banned, jailed, and hanged by the thousands in 1988. Young Iranians are right to resent the left for helping birth this monster. Owning that mistake is how we make sure we never trade freedom for a dictator again.
The Iran We Will Rebuild
Our future is not naval mines or missile threats against our Gulf neighbours. A free Iran means peace with Iraq, Turkey, and the Arab world—water in the pipes, bread on the table, and our 19-year-olds alive in universities, not hanging from cranes.
